Pictures: 1st Day of Spring!

Hello, and Happy First Day of Spring! I love Spring but I don't like the rainy season that comes along with it.. Then again how would flowers live and and and trees and birds?? Never mind, got a little carried away.. These beautiful Roses were my great Grandmother's Roses that are now planted in our garden. As a matter a fact her name was Rosalina. Makes sense since she loved Roses! I personally love them. But I think these are not Roses you buy at the store. They look a bit different. I'm supposing they're wild? Don't know. I just think they're beautiful and that's all that matters right?? Also a note: These pictures I have of flowers are MY OWN personal flowers from our garden. They're not pictures you find on the internet.

Pictures!

You! Yeah you! Aren't you glad it's Friday? Because I am! This is a vintage styled toy hat. I found this at the store and thought it was a nice decorative house item. So decided to take a nice picture of it. Don't know what to take pictures of? Maybe look around your house, your backyard, trees, flowers, almost anything! Those are just a few tips.

Pictures: Flowers

Spring is coming soon! Hope you all are ready for the most rainy season of the year! How exciting, huh? I guess for plants, birds, and other types of nature will be having the time of their life. I believe that this flower pictured, is called an Orange Flowered Amaryllid. My wonderful mom planted these and it bloomed last night! How beautiful. I haven't really posted any more arts and crafts because iv'e been so busy getting settled on the facebook page. And guess what... We changed our look! We now have daisies in a basket. From now on, every month I will be changing the background with what it matches. Hope you guys like it!

Pictures, Pictures, and more Pictures!

Hello, and happy Monday! To bad the weekend is over... :( Isn't Orchidia a pretty name? I love it. Anyways, this is such a beautiful orchid(again love that name!). Here are a few of interesting facts about Orchids...

  • Orchid Plants are the LARGEST family in the Plant Kingdom with over 25,000 naturally occurring species in the world, as well as the specially-developed hybrids!
  • The spice that we use in our home, Vanilla comes from the fruit of an orchid. (mmm vanilla!)
  • Orchid flowers can grow to be as small as a head of a pin or greater at 10 feet!
  • The orchid plant is currently the most popular plant houseplant in the UK according to F&PA surveys.

Hope you enjoyed those interesting facts about Orchids! Orchids are such an amazing creation from God.

Pictures: The Kokeshi Doll

Hello, and happy Sunday!!! This is a 'Kokeshi Doll'. It is a typical doll from Japan. My friend went, and got me this Kute doll as a souvenir. Let me tell you a little bit of the Kokeshi doll..... " KOKESHI doll is the most popular traditional folk-crafts in Japan. It originated in the TOHOKU region ( Northeast Japan ). The hands of lather-crafts men who live in the mountains like Gypsy, seek the desired material to use for a KOKESHI doll. Nowadays there are 2 styles of KOKESHI: traditional and modern. Since the rich and colorful model, polychrome color, the exquisite design made, the modern KOKESHI is loved by people more and more."

"Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, Instead He came to serve others..."
